Moving Animals |
1) Go to any of the main herd views: Puppies, Females, Males, or Unmanaged Animals. These can be accessed by going to the
Canines module then clicking on the appropriate view from the Select View control. The
View menu can also be used from the menu bar. Use the List view to select multiple animals.

2) Select the animals from the table that you want to move. You can select more than one animal
by using the mouse in conjunction with the Shift or Ctrl keys.

3) Click on the Move Animal(s) action ( ) located within the Actions control.

4) The Select Location dialog will be displayed.

5) Fill in the date the animals will be moved; the area or parcel of land where the location resides; and the name
of the fenced location that will hold the animal. If you are moving dams and would like to move the offsrping with the
females, select the Move Child with Dam check box. If you are moving the animals to an untracked location,
which is a location that you are not interested in tracking, then select the Move Animal(s) to Untracked Location
check box.

6) When you have finished entering data. Click on the OK button located in the bottom right corner of the
dialog. The record will be validated and applied to all the selected animals. An inbreeding check will also be performed
against the animals in the selected location. If any inbreeding is detected, the details will be presented in a dialog
box, where you can choose to continue or cancel the operation.
